In 2025, Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok’s premier gateway, has been crowned the world’s #1 airport for airline connectivity, with 113 airlines linking the city to 151 destinations worldwide. Additionally, Airports Council International (ACI) ranked Suvarnabhumi International Airport #7 for route connectivity, positioning it ahead of Singapore Changi Airport (#8) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (#9). This recognition further reinforces Bangkok’s growing appeal as a prime destination for real estate investment, backed by world-leading accessibility.
Looking ahead, Bangkok’s global connectivity is set to strengthen even further, with new airlines and routes expanding the city’s reach. United Airlines is launching the first daily nonstop flight between the United States and Thailand after an 11-year hiatus, beginning October 26, marking the first direct connection since 2014. Additionally, low-cost carrier Norse Atlantic Airways will inaugurate a direct route between Manchester, United Kingdom, and Bangkok on November 26.
Bangkok’s secondary gateway, Don Mueang International Airport, is also seeing steadily expanding connectivity, with Thai AirAsia X introducing three new routes offering four weekly flights to Almaty (Kazakhstan), Sendai (Japan), and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). As Thailand’s high season approaches, these new connections are expected to further boost international arrivals, reinforcing confidence in Bangkok’s hospitality and property markets.
